Our goal is to make the best handmade scotch eggs that you can buy, using locally sourced ingredients.

It all began with sausages. We used to make and sell them locally. Occasionally we’d have more sausage meat than sausage sales, so we thought we’d make a few scotch eggs. We found ourselves selling far more scotch eggs than sausages... resulting in Hettie Hen being hatched in our kitchen at home.
