Visitors to the Food Festival can unwind in the summer sunshine at the annual Hampton Court Palace Food Festival, where family fun takes centre stage in the beautiful East Gardens.

Fuel your family’s competitive spirit with vintage garden games or relax to the sounds of live music at the bandstand. In 2026, we will welcome new character meet & greet sessions for our young visitors, as well as a 'Get Messy' craft area where kids could get creative with crafting activities, or dance to lively tunes in silent disco across the weekend.

Little ones can also enjoy face painting, transforming into their favourite characters or adorable animals, before hopping on a Shire Horse and Cart Ride for a taste of royal tradition.

With a packed schedule of entertainment, shopping and delicious food, the festival promises an unforgettable day out for all ages when it returns this August. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, making it the perfect summer outing for the whole family. Pack your picnic blanket and make a date to visit across the August bank holiday weekend!
