Visitors to the Food Festival unwind in the summer sunshine at the annual Hampton Court Palace Food Festival, where family fun takes centre stage in the beautiful East Gardens.

Visit to fuel your family’s competitive spirit with vintage garden games or relax to the sounds of live music at the bandstand. In 2026, we will welcomed new character meet & greet sessions for our young visitors, as well as a 'Get Messy' craft area where kids could get creative with crafting activities, or dance to lively tunes at the silent disco across the weekend.

Visitors had the chance to meet Paddington™ (Saturday 29 August), Peppa Pig (Sunday 30 August) or Hey Duggee (Monday 31 August) throughout the weekend.

Little ones could get their face painted, transforming into their favourite characters or adorable animals.

With a packed schedule of entertainment, shopping and delicious food, the festival promises an unforgettable day out for all ages when it returns in 2027 across the August Bank Holiday weekend. There’s something for everyone to enjoy, making it the perfect summer outing for the whole family.
